Former Cangon Stud Farm resident sire Ad Valorem (USA) continues to establish himself as a significant broodmare sire with his daughters producing a steady stream of notable winners.
Already the damsire of two notable young stallions serving at stud in the form of Dirty Work and I Am Immortal, Ad Valorem (USA) finished the 2024-25 domestic racing season responsible for 26 individual winners from 58 starters in the broodmare sires listings. His top earner in this capacity proved to be Luna Cat, whose seasonal earnings were $95,600 but whose career earnings now amount to $446,850.
The aforementioned Dirty Work and I Am Immortal are amongst six stakes winners produced by daughters of Ad Valorem (USA). Notably, both stallions have sired their own stakes winners at an early stage of their respective career.
The new 2025-26 racing season has also begun in a promising fashion for Ad Valorem (USA) in his capacity as a broodmare sire. Impervious, a first-crop daughter of Golden Slipper winner Farnan, saluted at Eagle Farm in August and at Doomben in the first week of September is yet to finish out of a place in six starts for the Tony Gollan stable.
Impervious’ dam, Northern River, is one of 22 daughters of Ad Valorem (USA) registered with the Australian Stud Book. Daughters for the former Cangon Stud Farm stallion have so far produced the winners of $10 million in career earnings.
